Albano Mouricio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, C.A.VIRTUAL's Eusebio Florinio got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th match minute, C.A.VIRTUAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Gaueko to maneuver through the defense. The Concepción fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Concepción's Vicente Maiorga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 16th match minute, C.A.VIRTUAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Dalmai to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th match minute, C.A.VIRTUAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Anaya to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Sagrario might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albano Mouricio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Sagrario ran back to his position shaking his head. C.A.VIRTUAL's Albano Mouricio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Maiorga in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Concepción's goalkeeper Esteban Eskuin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patricio Escobar. Vicente Maiorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Mouricio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Sagrario in the 31st minute of play forced C.A.VIRTUAL's goalkeeper Albano Mouricio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebio Florinio during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Concepción booed when C.A.VIRTUAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Florinio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albano Mouricio had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Antonio Estevon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jonas Sagrario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albano Mouricio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Esteban Eskuin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Gaueko in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Concepción booed when C.A.VIRTUAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Anaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Sagrario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the game, Vicente Maiorga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Albano Mouricio. Vicente Maiorga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. With 56 minutes on the clock, Hermengildo Gabino commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Concepción:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A.VIRTUAL:s goal. The referee gave C.A.VIRTUAL a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roberto Mancio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Concepción's Esteban Eskuin. 1-2. After 61 played minutes Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Justino Totakoxe. 63 minutes into the match, Concepción's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Gaueko came free, but Esteban Eskuin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Eskuin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Gaueko in the 65th minute of the match. Pablo Chap struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Albano Mouricio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concepción. Esteban Eskuin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Gaueko in the 89th minute of play. If Jonas Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Concepción played a much better game than C.A.VIRTUAL and deserved their victory. The C.A.VIRTUAL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
