Leonel Bernal charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonel Bernal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Casa Anibal booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Teyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Faustino Piarres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustino Piarres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Cordarell, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Casa Anibal's Prospero Elequemedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Nerio in the 78th minute of play. Faustino Piarres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Teyo in the 84th minute of the match. If Hugo Teyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Casa Anibal's Faustino Piarres threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hugo Teyo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Casa Anibal's Saturnino Cucao pulled a muscle in his back after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Arturo Nerio charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Casa Anibal's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
