When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Jimeno Quin took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ambrosio Matro to make any attempt to save it. 12 minutes into the match, Danitto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Nevada came free, but Edelmiro Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Nevada in the 17th minute of play forced Danitto FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Jerold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th match minute, Danitto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Astudillo to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Diego Nicholas in the 20th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Edelmiro Jerold's left hand side. If Jimeno Quin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santos Harkaitz hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. America del Sur's Ambrosio Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Llorienzo in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Cayetano Eliazar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Danitto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave America del Sur the free kick. 40 minutes into the match, Danitto FC's Jimeno Quin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ambrosio Matro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Danitto FC were furious when Jesus Astudillo was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Diego Nicholas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo Nevada to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Danitto FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Jerold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Bartoli. After a rather tough play, America del Sur's Domingo Gonzales got a free kick in the 54th minute. Ismael Bartoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Jerold having to interfere. Edelmiro Jerold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Maule in the 65th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as America del Sur's Arturo Nevada slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edelmiro Jerold. That made the score 1-1 after 66 minutes of play. Edelmiro Jerold made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Arturo Nevada sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute Arturo Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Jerold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaudencio Artizar during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Nevada got free with Edelmiro Jerold in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Danitto FC's Edelmiro Jerold got control of the ball when Arturo Nevada tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Danitto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Bartoli came free, but Edelmiro Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Nevada came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edelmiro Jerold could save by the left post. Edelmiro Jerold made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Ismael Bartoli sent off a good shot on target. Arturo Nevada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Edelmiro Jerold made a huge save. Edelmiro Jerold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Bartoli in the 94th minute of play.
