C.A Talleres de Córdoba's attentive Horacio Cayo managed to snatch the ball when Andres Umbruso made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the match, C.A Talleres de Córdoba's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Garoa came free, but Lino Papo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Flavio Abechuco came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the C.A Talleres de Córdoba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Abechuco couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Denis Tusgaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes C.A Talleres de Córdoba got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Abechuco. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lino Papo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. C.A Talleres de Córdoba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Timoteo Salbatore scored to the left of an out of position Lino Papo, making the score, 2-0. Emilio Gar struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Lino Papo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fuerte Apache. With a little luck, C.A Talleres de Córdoba's Lino Papo got control of the ball when Emilio Gar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, C.A Talleres de Córdoba's Eustacio Adrio got a free kick in the 41st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Flavio Abechuco made the kick off in the second half. C.A Talleres de Córdoba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Tusgaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Fuerte Apache's Mario Garoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
