The Canchicot f.c. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Fliz should have stopped the shot. If Rosendo Caetano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Caetano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Francisco Fliz made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gervasio Felipillo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in C.A Rosario Central's zone, Zacarias Guilabertus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Rosario came out of the goal and Zacarias Guilabertus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.A Rosario Central's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gervasio Neto in the 62nd minute. C.A Rosario Central were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Canchicot f.c.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gervasio Neto took the corner. Gervasio Neto made a great header on C.A Rosario Central's corner, it was just that Canchicot f.c.'s Francisco Fliz managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 72nd match minute, Canchicot f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Guilabertus to maneuver through the defense. C.A Rosario Central's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gervasio Felipillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Eduardo Gurutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, C.A Rosario Central could leave the field as winners, despite Canchicot f.c. having more of the ball for most of the match.
