Osvaldo Hermon hit a great ball. Victorino Sengrat took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Francisco Fliz. Canchicot f.c.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 29th minute, Zacarias Guilabertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the game, C.A Velez Sarsfield's Fulgencio Herensuge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Fliz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Francisco Fliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Sengrat, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Francisco Fliz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulgencio Herensuge's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The audience was convinced that Fulgencio Herensuge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Fliz was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Gervasio Felipillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgilio Orland's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Francisco Fliz firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, C.A Velez Sarsfield's Oscar Cugat got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Francisco Fliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Cugat in the 87th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C.A Velez Sarsfield walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
