Spectators: 6642 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eustaquio Palos started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Agustin Guzman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustaquio Palos during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Isidor in the 27th minute of play forced Hernando FC's goalkeeper Erubiel Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erubiel Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Isidor in the 39th minute of play. Erubiel Polo made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Higinio Sugoi sent off a good shot on target. Aquiles Toli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Aguilera having to make a save.

55 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Palos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hernando FC's Erubiel Polo. Erubiel Polo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute, Vinicio Abadie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th match minute, Hernando FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Abadie to maneuver through the defense. Dario Aguilera was a little too slow when Clodoveo Baristo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-1. Aquiles Toli struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Dario Aguilera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hernando FC. 76 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Baristo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hernando FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ñorquín AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hernando FC's Clodoveo Baristo got a free kick in the 76th minute. With a little luck, Ñorquín AFC's Dario Aguilera got control of the ball when Clodoveo Baristo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clodoveo Baristo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dario Aguilera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Clodoveo Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hernando FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clodoveo Baristo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ñorquín AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
