Hugo Santana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonel Tirso. God Of Football's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abelardo Omero's late challenge caught a Ñorquín AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abelardo Omero helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes God Of Football got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Omero. Gervasio Sol kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Dario Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Artal in the 20th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Justino Blai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ñorquín AFC and the God Of Football players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ñorquín AFC's Justino Blai got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Fidel Jenaro came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the God Of Football fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Jenaro couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ñorquín AFC booed when God Of Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Berdaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ñorquín AFC's Higinio Sugoi got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonel Tirso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Guzman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Victorio Pabla fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored God Of Football's protests and gave Victorio Pabla a yellow card for diving instead. God Of Football's Leonel Tirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Palos in the 41st minute of play. If Eustaquio Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

God Of Football's Leonel Tirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Palos in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Ñorquín AFC booed when God Of Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Omero didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Higinio Sugoi came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ñorquín AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Sugoi couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in God Of Football's zone, Higinio Sugoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Tirso came out of the goal and Higinio Sugoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Higinio Sugoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gervasio Galtero came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the God Of Football fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Galtero couldn't finish the play. Leonel Tirso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Higinio Sugoi in the 82nd minute. Eustaquio Palos struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Leonel Tirso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ñorquín AFC. Ñorquín AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
