Anjuli FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Hori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Claudio Hanot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute, Club Atletico River Plate's Timoteo Cordaryal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baldomero Bernat. Baldomero Bernat yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Claudio Hanot's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Baldomero Bernat skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gerhardt Tallitz hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With 20 minutes on the clock, Cornelio Tanio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 19 minutes into the game, one of Anjuli FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 25th minute Claudio Hanot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Bernat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Miliano in the 27th minute of play forced Club Atletico River Plate's goalkeeper Paulino Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerhardt Tallitz charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerhardt Tallitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Anibal Pacorro fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anjuli FC's protests and gave Anibal Pacorro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Anibal Pacorro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atletico River Plate's Gerhardt Tallitz got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Anjuli FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Bastian. Baldomero Bernat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerhardt Tallitz in the 43rd minute. When Ulises Bastian came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Anjuli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Bastian couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulises Bastian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Anjuli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Hori to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Anjuli FC defense, Claudio Hanot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Bernat. The Anjuli FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Bernat should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd match minute, Anjuli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Onbera to maneuver through the defense. Claudio Hanot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Atletico River Plate's Domingos Breogan got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, Anjuli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Onbera to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Bernat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Hanot's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Carmelo Florin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Anjuli FC's zone, Gerhardt Tallitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Bernat came out of the goal and Gerhardt Tallitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Bernat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Hanot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th match minute, Anjuli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Miliano to maneuver through the defense. Gerhardt Tallitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Bernat having to interfere. In the 91stth minute of the game Claudio Hanot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anjuli FC's Baldomero Bernat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Claudio Hanot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Bernat was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Club Atletico River Plate walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
