The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Galaxy's zone, Alberto Ofelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Xacintu came out of the goal and Alberto Ofelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Merexildo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Ofelio in the 19th minute of play forced Galaxy's goalkeeper Fulgencio Xacintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, DEPORTIVO TITAN's Flavio Merexildo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fulgencio Xacintu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 23 played minutes Galaxy got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Ikatz. The audience was convinced that Braulio Ubendu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 彭正庭 was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Prospero Bingen hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Fulgencio Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastians Blasco in the 36th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Galaxy's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Chorache came free, but Fulgencio Xacintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Ubendu charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Braulio Ubendu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Braulio Ubendu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, DEPORTIVO TITAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastians Blasco to maneuver through the defense. DEPORTIVO TITAN's 彭正庭 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save DEPORTIVO TITAN from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick Mellberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flavio Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Fulgencio Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 彭正庭 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Ubendu in the 54th minute of play. In the 61st minute Alberto Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Justo Quintan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to DEPORTIVO TITAN getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Flavio Merexildo hit a great ball. Gilbert Sokolski hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Wilfredo Chorache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th match minute, DEPORTIVO TITAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Cilio to maneuver through the defense. 彭正庭 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Ubendu in the 87th minute of the match.
