Santos Quexal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Raymundo having to interfere. Gustavo Montel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Alfredo Raymundo managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Atlético Udaondo's Ambrosio Cordaryal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Quilmes Atletico Club's Alfredo Raymundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Quilmes Atletico Club from getting a goal against them. If Jeremias Chucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Gustavo Montel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilmes Atletico Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Montel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Atlético Udaondo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atlético Udaondo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
