Leonides Frascuelo, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Teodosio Nataniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Lano's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Jaime Ciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Nataniel having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cayetano Lano made a kick off. Cayetano Lanos short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Teodosio Nataniel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Teodosio Nataniel managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Utracán's Cayetano Lano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nestor Corderall hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Chano. Cayetano Lano in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teodosio Nataniel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
