To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Silvio Sedeni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 36 played minutes 11 ANIMALES FC got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Umea. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hilario Esiquio in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Intxixu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The 11 ANIMALES FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bañado were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvio Sedeni to strike the kick off in the second half. 11 ANIMALES FC were furious when Teobaldo Benat was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in 11 ANIMALES FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! Eliseo Guzman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Israel Hori having to make a save. When Virgilio Salvatore came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the 11 ANIMALES FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Salvatore couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Niceto Franco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Intxixu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After a rather tough play, 11 ANIMALES FC's Hernan Baristo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Nemesio Brun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zacarias Intxixu. 11 ANIMALES FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Daniel Bemabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Bemabe kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Virgilio Salvatore took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Israel Hori. Israel Hori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Guzman in the 95th minute of play forced Bañado's goalkeeper Israel Hori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Florencio Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 99 played minutes 11 ANIMALES FC got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Umea. In the 100th minute of the match Nemesio Brun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zacarias Intxixu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bañado's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
