Spectators: 6525 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 125) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edward Pruss got the match started through his kick off. Zula Cwojdak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Gabino having to interfere. When Moncho Barboa came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the MECHITA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moncho Barboa couldn't finish the play. After 12 played minutes Quilmes A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Perfecto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Ekain in the 14th minute of play forced MECHITA's goalkeeper Jonatan Gabino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Quilmes A.C.'s Zula Cwojdak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonatan Gabino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Braulio Sidoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Pruss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiberto Millrick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, MECHITA's goalkeeper Jonatan Gabino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zula Cwojdak. Zula Cwojdak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Gabino having to interfere. Edward Pruss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonatan Gabino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Millrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th match minute, MECHITA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Odon to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zula Cwojdak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Quilmes A.C. were furious when Melchor Lordi was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Melchor Lordi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When MECHITA's Edward Pruss in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quilmes A.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Moncho Barboa kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 72 minutes, Edward Pruss made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Quilmes A.C.'s Braulio Sidoro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edward Pruss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Braulio Sidoro made a huge save. In the 77th match minute, Quilmes A.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Millrick to maneuver through the defense. Jonatan Gabino came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Quilmes A.C.'s Zula Cwojdak. But to his dismay, Zula Cwojdak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When MECHITA's Edward Pruss in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quilmes A.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. If Placido Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zula Cwojdak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th match minute, Quilmes A.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Salamon to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Sidoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Pruss, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
