After a defensive mix-up in Sheriff F.C.'s zone, Claudio Diaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Jacindo came out of the goal and Claudio Diaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raimundo Tallia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Llorienzo in the 11th minute of the match. Eustaquio Iraido struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Celestino Jacindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Las Cerezas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Diaz in the 16th minute of play forced Sheriff F.C.'s goalkeeper Celestino Jacindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Raphael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Raimundo Tallia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sheriff F.C.'s Ruben Llorienzo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 21st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Eustaquio Iraido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celestino Jacindo having to make a save. Tiaguinho Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Tallia having to interfere. Celestino Jacindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Diaz in the 31st minute of play. Gregorio Indartsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Gregorio Indartsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Las Cerezas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Indartsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Las Cerezas's zone, Tiaguinho Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Tallia came out of the goal and Tiaguinho Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruben Llorienzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raimundo Tallia having to make a save. Sheriff F.C.'s Ruben Llorienzo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Luisito Raphael reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Raimundo Tallia. The goal made the score 2-0. Luisito Raphael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Sheriff F.C.'s Luisito Raphael ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raimundo Tallia. Raimundo Tallia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruben Llorienzo was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Las Cerezas's zone, Luisito Raphael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Tallia came out of the goal and Luisito Raphael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Fertus hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustaquio Iraido during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Eustaquio Iraido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Luisito Raphael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiaguinho Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Tallia having to interfere. In the 60th minute Eustaquio Iraido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Jacindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Raphael in the 62nd minute of play forced Las Cerezas's goalkeeper Raimundo Tallia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulão Velasco hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Ruben Llorienzo struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ruben Llorienzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Fertus charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Fertus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Las Cerezas getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Alberto Fertus hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Paulão Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luisito Raphael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Raimundo Tallia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ruben Llorienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sheriff F.C.'s Tiaguinho Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luisito Raphael blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raimundo Tallia having to make a save. There was no doubt that Sheriff F.C. were the better team. Sheriff F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
