Emilio Hernainz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Isusko having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Rubens das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubens das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rubens das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Isusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Matai in the 30th minute of the match. If Rubens das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Ruben Gaitano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tadeo Francho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Serafo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Manantiales's Leandro Theobald to fire away a dangerous shot which Tadeo Francho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Roman Baraquiel notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Manantiales's Alejandro Isusko. Alejandro Isusko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roman Baraquiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Isusko having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Manantiales's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens das Neves came free, but Alejandro Isusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejandro Isusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Gaitano in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Gaitano in the 68th minute of play forced Manantiales's goalkeeper Alejandro Isusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Manantiales got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Misael. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Baraquiel in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejandro Isusko saved Manantiales from getting behind. Manantiales's Alejandro Isusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubens das Neves in the 73rd minute of play. Alejandro Isusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubens das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute Ruben Gaitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Isusko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Emilio Hernainz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Manantiales's goalie and right to Rubens das Neves. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Manantiales's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Bernardo Matai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Rubens das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubens das Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Isusko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rubens das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Camilo Gizon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tadeo Francho. The goal made the score 3-1.
