The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Peter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Cucao's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After the first half Berdier were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hilario Avellaneda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guido Cordera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Rodrigo Peter made a huge save. Nogal's Rodrigo Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Bartolome in the 53rd minute of play. Rodrigo Peter had great luck who in the 55thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rene Bartolome from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Edgard Lluc charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Lluc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Nogal booed when Berdier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Lluc didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 played minutes Berdier got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Llorienzo. After 63 minutes of play, Nogal's Hilario Avellaneda made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urbano Bermudo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute, Berdier's Luis Cucao ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rodrigo Peter. Rodrigo Peter yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 72nd minute of the match, Rene Bartolome tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodrigo Peter saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rodrigo Peter made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Guido Cordera sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute of the match, Carolo Jakue tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodrigo Peter saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Nogal's Rodrigo Peter got control of the ball when Luis Cucao tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodrigo Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Bartolome in the 81st minute of play. Nogal's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rene Bartolome 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. After having played for 95 minutes, Luis Cucao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berdier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Cucao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
