Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruben Claude kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Rodolfo Furman hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Oier hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The supporters of Arteaga FC booed when Los Cuervos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Arotza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Arteaga FC's Rodrigo Vasconcelos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gogo Gimenez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 25th play minute Rodrigo Vasconcelos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gogo Gimenez. 2-0. Genaro Cordaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Arotza, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Rodrigo Vasconcelos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rodolfo Furman hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 40 minutes of play Los Cuervos's Jesus Arotza was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 41st minute, Jesus Arotza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Vasconcelos in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gogo Gimenez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Los Cuervos's Teodoro Rutenio got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeronimo Oier made a kick off. A collision led to Arteaga FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Rogelio Lesardo hit a great ball. In the 54th match minute, Arteaga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Hustaz to maneuver through the defense. Gogo Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Vasconcelos in the 58th minute of play. Ruben Claude's late challenge caught a Arteaga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Claude helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Vasconcelos in the 64th minute of play forced Los Cuervos's goalkeeper Gogo Gimenez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gogo Gimenez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arteaga FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
