Isaac Perutxo came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by FEDEX's Lúcio Aleixo. But to his dismay, Lúcio Aleixo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Isaac Perutxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Garikoitz in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Gualterio Quilino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peñas Rojas F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Quilino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Aleixo in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Perutxo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isaac Perutxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Garikoitz in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match Peñas Rojas F.C. got a corner. FEDEX's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felix Elivareo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Peñas Rojas F.C.'s Gualterio Quilino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 30th minute Gualterio Quilino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Gonzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aureliano Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Felipillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Peñas Rojas F.C.'s zone, Lúcio Aleixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Perutxo came out of the goal and Lúcio Aleixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Elia got free with Isaac Perutxo in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 40 minutes, Lúcio Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FEDEX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Aleixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Generoso Felipillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Isaac Perutxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Peñas Rojas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Cugat. Elpidio Patxi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

52 minutes into the game, FEDEX's Generoso Felipillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaac Perutxo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Hernan Frascuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Aureliano Jaunti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Perutxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, FEDEX's Lúcio Aleixo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After some careless play in the Peñas Rojas F.C. defense, Lúcio Aleixo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaac Perutxo. The Peñas Rojas F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Perutxo should have stopped the shot. Aureliano Jaunti scored 7-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaac Perutxo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that FEDEX were the better team. FEDEX's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
