João Vítor Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Jacob having to interfere. If Amancio Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Ivan Bidun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Hilario Dino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. In the 32nd minute João Vítor Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Jacob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Frasquito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Jacob having to interfere. Lino Jacob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Dino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estrella Roja de Belgrado's goalkeeper Lino Jacob, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lino Jacob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Dino, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Estrella Roja de Belgrado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Israel Jordy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Lino Jacob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Leal in the 73rd minute of the match. When Ivan Bidun fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estrella Roja de Belgrado's protests and gave Ivan Bidun a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes Estrella Roja de Belgrado got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Bidun. Bernardo Frasquito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ausonia Argentum FC's Hilario Dino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lino Jacob. That made the score 1-3 after 77 minutes of play. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Lino Jacob successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ausonia Argentum FC's Delmar Viator got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Estrella Roja de Belgrado's Lino Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Viator in the 88th minute of play.
