Ildefonso Firmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. One of PIRU FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Boca Juniors:s goal. Vinicio Pueblo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, PIRU FC's Ildefonso Firmo got control of the ball when Tiburcio Frisco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Victoriano Iruinea notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of Boca Juniors's Lorenzo Raebert.
