Baudrix's Alejandro Ospin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Celino in the 23rd minute of play. David Heriberto in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Florian, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in Chimpay's zone, Ignacio Innocenzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Florian came out of the goal and Ignacio Innocenzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, Chimpay's goal looked a bit too open when David Heriberto came free, but Fabio Florian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Florian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Innocenzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Ariel Lorenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejandro Ospin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Nuno in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Ovidio Salvadore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejandro Ospin. Baudrix's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidio Salvadore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Heriberto in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Florian saved Chimpay from getting behind. Fabio Florian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Augusto Nuno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Delmar Lauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes Chimpay got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Tabor. David Heriberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baudrix's Ariel Lorenz got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute of the match, Ovidio Salvadore got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alejandro Ospin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
