Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramon Pirmin in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Michael Hedlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's Christian Arnas got control of the ball when Marcos Bemabe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ramon Pirmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Michael Hedlund having to interfere. The supporters of Vinoteca Scotch booed when C.A. INDEPENDIENTE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Herena didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's Isidro Policarpio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Michael Hedlund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Librado came free, but Christian Arnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Pirmin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Michael Hedlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Pirmin in the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramon Pirmin to make the kick off. Nicasio Librado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Nicasio Librado made a precise shot to the right of Christian Arnas. C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.
