Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Teodosio Matteo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Freire's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodosio Matteo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Orlanda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Orlanda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Fidele in the 5th minute of play. Honorato Savion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigi Gorjanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freire's Honorato Savion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Elixio in the 15th minute of play. Trevor Sutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Honorato Savion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Orlanda came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Freire's Fabian Izotz. But to his dismay, Fabian Izotz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Gigi Gorjanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Freire's goal looked a bit too open when Trevor Sutton came free, but Honorato Savion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Freire getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Adan Fidele hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmacio Elixio in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Savion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gigi Gorjanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Honorato Savion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trevor Sutton might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorato Savion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trevor Sutton ran back to his position shaking his head. Honorato Savion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Elixio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Almirante Brown's Jorge Orlanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Fidele in the 40th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalmacio Elixio was the one to do the kick off. Dalmacio Elixio scored 1-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorato Savion, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vicente Marin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Honorato Savion. Freire's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Elixio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almirante Brown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Freire the free kick. In the 60th minute, Dalmacio Elixio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Almirante Brown! 65 minutes into the match, Gigi Gorjanu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Honorato Savion, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Freire's Elias Jorrin got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute Teodosio Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Orlanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Almirante Brown defense, Fabian Izotz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Orlanda. The Almirante Brown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Orlanda should have stopped the shot. Almirante Brown's Vicente Marin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Honorato Savion but with some difficulty. The supporters of Freire booed when Almirante Brown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Marin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th match minute, Freire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Bilbo to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes, Almirante Brown's Vicente Marin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Honorato Savion came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Almirante Brown reached it. Jorge Orlanda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Arlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Honorato Savion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dalmacio Elixio in the 93rd minute. Gigi Gorjanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorato Savion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Freire's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
