The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Vasco's late challenge caught a AKANEGAUKA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mariano Vasco helped the player get up and apologised. Drago Protić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Demario in the 25th minute. Eulalio Clis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Mingo in the 28th minute of the match. Celestino Ruy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Drago Protić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Söder to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Dan Söder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hidalgo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Söder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eulalio Clis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 61 minutes, Felix Demario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AKANEGAUKA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Demario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute Celestino Ruy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drago Protić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celestino Ruy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drago Protić having to interfere. Drago Protić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Demario, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 77 played minutes Hidalgo FC got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Ederono. When the referee ended the match the AKANEGAUKA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
