The referee ignored Balcozna's protests and gave Fausto Oihenarte a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Balcozna got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Oihenarte. In the 15thth minute of the game Zenon Merski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balcozna's Orlando Bernebe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zenon Merski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquilino Berart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Orlando Bernebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balcozna's Orlando Bernebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zenon Merski in the 22nd minute of play. Orlando Bernebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Merski, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Balcozna's goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Merski came free, but Orlando Bernebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Balcozna's zone, Zenon Merski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Bernebe came out of the goal and Zenon Merski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the match, Balcozna's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Javiero came free, but Orlando Bernebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zenon Merski was the one to do the kick off. If Leonardo Javiero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Orlando Bernebe stood somewhat misplaced when Leonardo Javiero came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 59 minute. Zenon Merski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Colach team played a much better game than Balcozna and deserved their victory. The Balcozna players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
