When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Aquilino Oriol took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Erubiel Franco to make any attempt to save it. Hilario Esquipula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Sauveur in the 13th minute of play. Dalmacio Cordaro kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Erubiel Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Oriol in the 23rd minute of play. Erubiel Franco made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Saul Odon sent off a good shot on target. Hilario Esquipula didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eulalio Sauveur went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Sauveur in the 46th minute of play forced Chacarita Juniors's goalkeeper Hilario Esquipula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Oriol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Franco having to interfere.

The wind increased when Eulalio Sauveur made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Sauveur got free with Hilario Esquipula in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Chacarita Juniors's zone, Eulalio Sauveur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Esquipula came out of the goal and Eulalio Sauveur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute Aquilino Oriol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Barclack Fc getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Wilfredo Cayo hit a great ball. Aquilino Oriol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Erubiel Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Rencio in the 78th minute of play forced Barclack Fc's goalkeeper Erubiel Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Eulalio Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Esquipula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Barclack Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Oriol came free, but Erubiel Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Roque Rencio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erubiel Franco. Barclack Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roque Rencio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Barclack Fc's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Chacarita Juniors had won, even though Barclack Fc had held more of the ball.
