Spectators: 7037 (Terracing: 5347, Seating: 1640, VIP seats: 50) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Evelio Nalo made the kick off which started today's match. Omar Darien came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate Juninense's Sazon Lortia. But to his dismay, Sazon Lortia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 11 played minutes River Plate Juninense got a freekick which was hit by Albino Saturnin. Zeledon Etor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Koldo having to interfere. VILLEGAS FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Faustino Fagildo scored to the left of an out of position Omar Darien, making the score, 2-0. Omar Darien made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Evelio Nalo sent off a good shot on target. Evelio Nalo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Darien having to make a save. In the 41st minute, Gogo Afonso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Koldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Omar Darien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sazon Lortia in the 46th minute of play. Evelio Nalo might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Darien. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evelio Nalo ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Gogo Afonso made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, VILLEGAS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Corderro to maneuver through the defense. Omar Darien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sazon Lortia, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Omar Darien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Nalo in the 60th minute of play. River Plate Juninense's Faustino Fagildo pulled a muscle in his leg after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 60 minutes into the game, Clemente Aballe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VILLEGAS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River Plate Juninense the free kick. Clemente Aballe kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. If Sazon Lortia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arturo Hermon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Darien having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sazon Lortia in the 75th minute of play forced VILLEGAS FC's goalkeeper Omar Darien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to VILLEGAS FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Melquiades Txartiko hit a great ball. Omar Darien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Nalo in the 78th minute of the match. Omar Darien didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evelio Nalo went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. VILLEGAS FC's Omar Darien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Nalo in the 85th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Evelio Nalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Darien was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. If Evelio Nalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arturo Hermon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Omar Darien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that River Plate Juninense were the better team. River Plate Juninense's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
