In the 33rd minute, Nicasio Franco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to C. A. Cubechot getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Adrian Covrig hit a great ball. Peter Hayward kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Vinicio Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicasio Franco to make the kick off. Cubechot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nunez Barto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudio Sal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Macario in the 71st minute of play. Claudio Sal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Cebrian went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Ulises Macario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Claudio Sal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cruz Diablo! getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Arnulfo Jaen hit a great ball. Cruz Diablo!'s Claudio Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Barto in the 91st minute of play.
