The coaching staff of Pulares protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cristobal Romelio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a defensive mix-up in Vito Corleone FC's zone, Ciro Hernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The Pulares players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vito Corleone FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Hernandez made a kick off. After some careless play in the Vito Corleone FC defense, Ciro Hernandez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Gaxan. The Vito Corleone FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Gaxan should have stopped the shot. Ciro Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Gaxan having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Vito Corleone FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Derwin came free, but Roman Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. That made the score 2-3 after 87 minutes of play. Vito Corleone FC's Roman Gaxan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Hernandez in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Vito Corleone FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Hernandez came free, but Roman Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vito Corleone FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
