One of Deportivo Mainque:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pulares:s goal. Inocencio Dei had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Carlos Shepherd's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Pulares's Ciro Hernandez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inocencio Dei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ciro Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Pulares booed when Deportivo Mainque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Cordarrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mainque's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Hernandez came free, but Inocencio Dei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pulares booed when Deportivo Mainque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes of play, Pulares's Paulino Ulizes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inocencio Dei was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulino Ulizes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Dei having to interfere. Inocencio Dei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Paulino Ulizes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Inocencio Dei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Paulino Ulizes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inocencio Dei. Deportivo Mainque's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Ulizes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Paulino Ulizes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Julio Cordarrel came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Deportivo Mainque fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Cordarrel couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Garoa made a kick off. Deportivo Mainque's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Paulino Ulizes scored to the left of an out of position Inocencio Dei, making the score, 0-4. Inocencio Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Ulizes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Ulizes in the 64th minute of play forced Deportivo Mainque's goalkeeper Inocencio Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Julio Cordarrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulino Ulizes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Dei having to interfere. If Ciro Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardo Gonsalvo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Inocencio Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Ulizes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Mainque's goalkeeper Inocencio Dei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Lucas Lorien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Hernandezs short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Inocencio Dei to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 90 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mainque's goalkeeper Inocencio Dei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Hernandez. Ciro Hernandez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Inocencio Dei when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ciro Hernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Inocencio Dei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Hector Etxeberri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Cordarrel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fermin Txeru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 100th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Pulares left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportivo Mainque.
