Ramon Quintin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Oinaz in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo RivadaviaVT's Nemesio Quintana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramon Quintin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramon Quintin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Quintana, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Lázaro Fertus struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ramon Quintin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sportivo RivadaviaVT. Ramon Quintin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Oinaz in the 43rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lázaro Fertus in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Quintin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Hipolito Oinaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nemesio Quintana to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Hipolito Oinaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Sportivo RivadaviaVT's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Oinaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Quintin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hipolito Oinaz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramon Quintin came out and tried to block the shot, but Hipolito Oinaz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Lázaro Fertus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Quintin came out of the goal and Lázaro Fertus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lázaro Fertus was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 63rd minute Lázaro Fertus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Quintin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nemesio Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andres Garin kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Placido Tab was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Sportivo RivadaviaVT the free kick. In the 69th minute, Placido Tab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boca Juniors's Esteban Manuelo suffered a sore thigh after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Camilo Berriotxoa fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Sportivo RivadaviaVT's protests and gave Camilo Berriotxoa a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Berriotxoa kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Ramon Quintin got control of the ball when Nemesio Quintana tried to sneak it across the goal line.
