The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romeo Rosario in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro Francis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Urusmayo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Julian Petri scored to the left of an out of position Prospero Ezkerra, making the score, 1-0. In the 26th minute Slawomir Pazura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Francis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Santos in the 30th minute of play forced maxwell FC's goalkeeper Lisandro Francis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes maxwell FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Franco. Cosme Oliverios might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lisandro Francis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosme Oliverios ran back to his position shaking his head. Dalmacio Francesco's late challenge caught a Urusmayo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Francesco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Dalmacio Francesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cosme Oliverios came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Urusmayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Oliverios couldn't finish the play. Ezequiel Vigil hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind maxwell FC's goalkeeper Lisandro Francis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gogo Filipo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Ambrosio Mitxel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Prospero Ezkerra. Urusmayo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lisandro Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Rosario in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeo Rosario to make the kick off. Prospero Ezkerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Petri went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Cosme Oliverios kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Petri in the 58th minute of play forced Urusmayo's goalkeeper Prospero Ezkerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. António Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Francis having to interfere. Prospero Ezkerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Seber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Slawomir Pazura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lisandro Francis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lisandro Francis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slawomir Pazura in the 73rd minute of the match. Cosme Oliverios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Lisandro Francis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Gabon's late challenge caught a Urusmayo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urusmayo's Romeo Rosario got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodoro Franco hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. António Santos scored 2-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lisandro Francis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
