The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Décio Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Gilesindo having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Rústico FC's Pablo Orlondon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esteve Gilesindo. That made the score 2-0 after 10 minutes of play. The supporters of Ballester booed when Rústico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. 庄远岩 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteve Gilesindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Orlondon in the 17th minute of play. Esteve Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Bertol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damaso Berdoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Dolfos having to interfere. Santo Odon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Esteve Gilesindo made a huge save. Apolo Dolfos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Berdoi in the 28th minute of the match. 庄远岩 was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the game, one of Rústico FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Everardo Madaleno got a throw-in 40 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Federico Bertol. Esteve Gilesindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Décio Loyola in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Ballester's Zeledon Espiridion was substituted for Arnaldo Cai. Ballester made a substitution. Jose Fernendo replaced Damaso Berdoi. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustin Argenis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Augusto Colas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Esteve Gilesindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Augusto Colas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Roberto-Carlos Munúa threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ballester's Angel Millan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jose Fernendo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Apolo Dolfos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Agustin Argenis scored 3-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Dolfos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Décio Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Gilesindo having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Rústico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Argenis came free, but Apolo Dolfos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Colas in the 81st minute of play forced Ballester's goalkeeper Esteve Gilesindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Gilesindo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Colas went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Décio Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ballester's Esteve Gilesindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Colas in the 91st minute of play. Décio Loyola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteve Gilesindo having to make a save. Eleuterio Banegas hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Esteve Gilesindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Décio Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. If Décio Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ballester's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
