The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Eutor during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Felipe Shantala put in a rough tackle. In the 9th minute, one of BAMI:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BAMI. Camilo Katia made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Fausto Unax sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, Gerardo Ourente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Eladio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Katia. BAMI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo Eladio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Abelardo Evarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Olo in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to BAMI getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Nunez Olo hit a great ball. Arturo Celipe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Katia having to interfere. Maximino Remigio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes into the game, Nunez Olo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BAMI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA FORTALEZA DE SEMENTO the free kick. After a rather tough play, BAMI's Nunez Olo got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute, Arturo Celipe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Napier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Eladio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Katia having to interfere. Camilo Katia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the LA FORTALEZA DE SEMENTO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
