Spectators: 7123 (Terracing: 5344, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 141) Rivadeo's Gervasio Ledesma started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Alhuampa FC defense, Leonides Montrel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Tano. The Alhuampa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Tano should have stopped the shot. Aldo Tano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Ledesma in the 8th minute of play. Aldo Tano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Montrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Leonides Montrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Tano having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gervasio Ledesma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldo Tano was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Aldo Tano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Montrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute Leonides Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Tano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Tano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Ledesma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Gervasio Ledesma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Gervasio Ledesma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rivadeo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Montrel in the 31st minute of play forced Alhuampa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Tano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Ledesma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Tano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. If Leonides Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Tano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Azibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Leonides Montrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Tano having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Alhuampa FC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Aguilera. Leonides Montrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Rivadeo were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Aguilera was the one to do the kick off. If Leonides Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Tano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Ledesma in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match, Gervasio Ledesma tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aldo Tano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alvaro Innocenzio kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. A long shot from Elias Azibar in the 66th minute of play was well struck, but Aldo Tano made a really good save at the right post. Gervasio Ledesma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alhuampa FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Rivadeo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elias Azibar in the 72nd minute. Amado Aguilera kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Gervasio Ledesma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Tano having to interfere. In the 83rdth minute of the game Gervasio Ledesma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alhuampa FC's Aldo Tano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gervasio Ledesma got in the 90th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Aldo Tano handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Amado Aguilera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Millrick having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Alhuampa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Tano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Montrel. Gervasio Ledesma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Aldo Tano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Ledesma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Aldo Tano made a huge save. Rivadeo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
