Luisito Gaizkine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Vitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Lechuza's Gonzalo Esdras got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 34th minute, Roque Phelipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 2-1 became the score in the 37th minute when Gaspar Gabirel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 48th minute Timoteo Vitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Gaizkine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Gaspar Gabirel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Pelayo having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Barceloneta's goalkeeper Luisito Gaizkine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Bernard. Lechuza's Romeo Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Gabirel in the 56th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Gaspar Gabirel put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Romeo Pelayo. Romeo Pelayo came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Barceloneta's Gaspar Gabirel. But to his dismay, Gaspar Gabirel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Romeo Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Gabirel in the 64th minute of play. Romeo Pelayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Veto, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Romeo Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Gabirel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Barceloneta's goalkeeper Luisito Gaizkine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Muc. Arnulfo Arce's late challenge caught a Lechuza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnulfo Arce helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Arnulfo Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Gabirel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gaspar Gabirel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barceloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Gabirel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Pelayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romeo Pelayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Gabirel in the 90th minute of the match. Barceloneta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
