After a rather tough play, Rivadavia AFC's Jairo Terciero got a free kick in the 4th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pastor Flor during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 5 played minutes Rivadavia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Flor. C.A. Moreno Central 's Cipriano Saturnin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rivadavia AFC. Bruno Illan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Miliano in the 8th minute of play. When Igor Raitin fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivadavia AFC's protests and gave Igor Raitin a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave C.A. Moreno Central a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cipriano Saturnin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rivadavia AFC's Bruno Illan. 0-1. In the 17th minute, Eleuterio Miliano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. Moreno Central fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Maximiliano Garin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Rivadavia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Eguen to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Gregorio Eguen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivadavia AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Moreno Central the free kick. In the 31st minute, one of Rivadavia AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rivadavia AFC. When Maximiliano Garin came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Rivadavia AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Garin couldn't finish the play. Jairo Terciero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rivadavia AFC's Maximiliano Garin got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Pastor Flor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Illan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Miliano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celso Salvidor to make the kick off. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when C.A. Moreno Central 's Celso Salvidor in the 51st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Bruno Illan was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Rivadavia AFC through an amazing save. 54 minutes into the game, Godfredo Benet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivadavia AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Moreno Central the free kick. Godfredo Benet hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Rivadavia AFC's Bruno Illan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Salvidor in the 57th minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Rivadavia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Terciero to maneuver through the defense. Eleuterio Miliano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Bruno Illan made a huge save. Emilio Bastiaro hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Igor Raitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pastor Flor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Garin in the 71st minute of play forced C.A. Moreno Central 's goalkeeper Marcial Jaunzuria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rivadavia AFC's Bruno Illan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Salvidor in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Rivadavia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Flor to maneuver through the defense. Celso Salvidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Illan having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Rivadavia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Raitin. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Godfredo Benet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rivadavia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Benet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Jaunzuria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pastor Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Pastor Flor made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Jaunzuria. C.A. Moreno Central 's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. During the 95th minute of the match Jairo Terciero completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jairo Terciero a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Rivadavia AFC's Jairo Terciero got a free kick in the 96th minute. Chants of C.A. Moreno Central echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Rivadavia AFC had held the ball for most of the match.
