Duda Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 minutes, Damazy Galagan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liverpool F.C and the Recreo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Liverpool F.C got a freekick which was hit by Damazy Galagan. When Evelio Ferman came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Recreo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Ferman couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Benicio Cloyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recreo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benicio Cloyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duda Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evelio Ferman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Duda Branco came out and tried to block the shot, but Evelio Ferman slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 24th minute. Hernan Lehen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duda Branco having to make a save. Adrian Perutxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Rudkvist in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Cloyo in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duda Branco saved Liverpool F.C from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Evelio Ferman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recreo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evelio Ferman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duda Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Recreo FC booed when Liverpool F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damazy Galagan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Liverpool F.C's Hermengildo Bladi got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0.
