Estudiantes de la plata's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Horia Moldovan in the 40th minute. After 42 played minutes Estudiantes de la plata got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Inautzi. Erasmo Urki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Luken in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, C.A Zarich's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Matos came free, but Victorino Camerino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Luken to strike the kick off in the second half. Modesto Laffitte charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Estudiantes de la plata booed when C.A Zarich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Laffitte didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beppe Fino got free with Victorino Camerino in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Horia Moldovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de la plata's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Sergi came free, but Erasmo Urki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, C.A Zarich's Victorino Camerino got control of the ball when Diego Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leon Bizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Erasmo Urki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. C.A Zarich were victorious despite being under pressure from Estudiantes de la plata for much of the match.
