Zeledon Crispo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Bastian in the 3rd minute of play. Gaston Flor kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Christobal got free with Benjamin Gauargi in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the game, Aureliano Pueblo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benjamin Gauargi. Aureliano Pueblo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Emerson Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Benjamin Gauargi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Indacochea. Benjamin Gauargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Pueblo in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Morales defense, Manuel Christobal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Gauargi. The Morales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Gauargi should have stopped the shot. Benjamin Gauargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Pueblo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Gauargi having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Morales's goalkeeper Benjamin Gauargi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Christobal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Christobal was the one to do the kick off. Benjamin Gauargi came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Indacochea's Emerson Carneiro. But to his dismay, Emerson Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Benjamin Gauargi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson Carneiro in the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Sportivo Indacochea booed when Morales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Honrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rahib Babayev's late challenge caught a Morales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rahib Babayev helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Sportivo Indacochea:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Morales:s goal. Morales's Benjamin Gauargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elechi Cero in the 67th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Manuel Christobal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Gauargi. Morales's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Christobal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Aureliano Pueblo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Indacochea's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Pueblo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Gauargi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benjamin Gauargi came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Indacochea's Manuel Christobal. But to his dismay, Manuel Christobal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Benjamin Gauargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Pueblo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Morales's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Christobal came free, but Benjamin Gauargi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Emerson Carneiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Gauargi was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Morales's Benjamin Gauargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Christobal in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Christobal in the 87th minute of play forced Morales's goalkeeper Benjamin Gauargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, German Feo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjamin Gauargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Pueblo in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Manuel Christobal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Benjamin Gauargi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Sportivo Indacochea were the better team. Sportivo Indacochea's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
