After 12 played minutes, Tamberías's Evelio Orkatz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Genaro Vellito came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tamberías reached it. Delmiro Chaime made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Valentine in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Mauro Valentine reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Delmiro Chaime. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Leandro Urki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmiro Chaime made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Valentine in the 37th minute. The supporters of Ombú AFC booed when Tamberías was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Aires didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marciano Aires to strike the kick off in the second half. Delmiro Chaime stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Valentine's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Mauro Valentine made a precise shot to the right of Delmiro Chaime. Tamberías's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Arnaldo Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Delmiro Chaime tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Valentine in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmiro Chaime saved Tamberías from getting behind. Vladimiro Erasto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Chaime having to interfere. If Mauro Valentine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedicto Lorencio during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tamberías getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Benedicto Lorencio hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match Mauro Lucila sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delmiro Chaime skillfully saved the ball. Delmiro Chaime took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Valentine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Urki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delmiro Chaime having to make a save. In the 86thth minute of the game Mauro Valentine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tamberías's Delmiro Chaime was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Valentine in the 87th minute of play forced Tamberías's goalkeeper Delmiro Chaime to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Ermengol's late challenge caught a Ombú AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Ermengol helped the player get up and apologised. Luciano Ermengol kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tamberías fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ombú AFC a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roman Sadurni, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tamberías's Delmiro Chaime. 5-0. Mauro Valentine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Delmiro Chaime tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th match minute, Tamberías was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Aires to maneuver through the defense. Delmiro Chaime showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Valentine in the 98th minute of the match. Ombú AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
