Guerreros RC's Carolo Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Valentine in the 16th minute of play. Guerreros RC's Carolo Gonzalez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Guerreros RC from getting a goal against them. In the 21st match minute, Guerreros RC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Hug to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Leandro Urki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carolo Gonzalez, 2-0. In the 25thth minute of the game Segundo Mergildo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guerreros RC's Carolo Gonzalez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mauro Valentine received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carolo Gonzalez came out and tried to block the shot, but Mauro Valentine slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 28th minute. Mauro Valentine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carolo Gonzalez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. With his leg Carolo Gonzalez managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Ombú AFC's Mauro Valentine fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Leandro Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauro Valentine who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Carolo Gonzalez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 44 played minutes Ombú AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Abadie.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Txurio to make the kick off. Leandro Urki struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Carolo Gonzalez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ombú AFC. If Mauro Valentine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Guerreros RC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Clemente Norino hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Guerreros RC's zone, Mauro Valentine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Gonzalez came out of the goal and Mauro Valentine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Guerreros RC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Valentine came free, but Carolo Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Mauro Valentine cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Carolo Gonzalez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute Roman Sadurni suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clemente Norino during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ombú AFC's Francisco Laurentzi was substituted for Roman Sadurni. A collision led to Guerreros RC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Clemente Norino hit a great ball. After 87 minutes, Mauro Valentine made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Guerreros RC's Carolo Gonzalez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Leandro Urki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Gonzalez having to interfere. Carolo Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Valentine, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. There was no doubt that Ombú AFC were the better team. Ombú AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
