The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pawel Cwynar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of GAMBAS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pawel Cwynar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 5th minute, Pawel Cwynar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Cerrito FC's Jacinto Miliano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Carmelo Mede made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wellington Azevedo in the 7th minute. GAMBAS's Carmelo Mede played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Sancho in the 8th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Sancho got free with Carmelo Mede in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Cerrito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Markel came free, but Blas Quexal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The GAMBAS fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when GAMBAS's Desiderio Markel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 29th minute, Desiderio Markel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GAMBAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Desiderio Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 played minutes Cerrito FC got a freekick which was hit by Severo Roland. Blas Quexal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Leocadio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th match minute, Cerrito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Quilo to maneuver through the defense. Desiderio Markel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After the first half GAMBAS were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Jerold stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Leocadio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Blas Quexal. Cerrito FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 54th minute Desiderio Markel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Quexal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes in the game, Ruperto Sancho dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Cerrito FC's goalkeeper Blas Quexal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Remir. After 60 played minutes Cerrito FC got a freekick which was hit by 梅广然. Carmelo Mede showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. When Wellington Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerrito FC's protests and gave Wellington Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. Wellington Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Desiderio Markel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Quexal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute GAMBAS were awarded a corner. Desiderio Markel went to the cornerflag to take it. Blas Quexal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Markel in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Markel in the 73rd minute of play forced Cerrito FC's goalkeeper Blas Quexal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GAMBAS's Carmelo Mede played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Roland in the 76th minute of play. Blas Quexal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Markel in the 81st minute of play. Felix Jerold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th minute, Wellington Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carmelo Mede was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Carmelo Mede showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 梅广然 in the 94th minute of play forced GAMBAS's goalkeeper Carmelo Mede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cerrito FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Basilio Sabin hit a great ball. Victor Ekström missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 99 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Blas Quexal right hand side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched GAMBAS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
