In the 13th match minute, Pirquita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Boniel to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Campbell's Leandro Galeno broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Marciano Herrera notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pirquita's Andres Regis. Andres Regis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute, Lázaro Boniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andres Regis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Veronica in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Campbell booed when Pirquita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Boniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 0-2 became the score in the 24th minute when Baldomiro Vimaro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Baldomiro Vimaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campbell's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Vimaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres Regis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baldomiro Vimaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Regis having to interfere. Andres Regis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Veronica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andres Regis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebio Veronica's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Eusebio Veronica struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Andres Regis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campbell. A collision led to Campbell getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Saul Fiz hit a great ball. Eusebio Veronica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Andres Regis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Vimaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Regis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomiro Vimaro was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Campbell's goalkeeper Anastasio Aresti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Saul Fiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Campbell booed when Pirquita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Mano didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Pirquita's Andres Regis got control of the ball when Eusebio Veronica tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baldomiro Vimaro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andres Regis made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Eusebio Veronica sent off a good shot on target. Andres Regis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebio Veronica's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Campbell's Eusebio Veronica got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eusebio Veronica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 played minutes Pirquita got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Quexal. 84 minutes into the match, Pirquita's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Vimaro came free, but Andres Regis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Andres Regis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Pirquita's zone, Saul Fiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Regis came out of the goal and Saul Fiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andres Regis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Vimaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
