Colon de santa fe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebio Veronica was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 34th minute Ludvig Delin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Aresti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Baldomiro Vimaro sped through Colon de santa fe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elivélton Paraibano.
