The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ermegildo Chano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Chano made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Eustacio Gustau sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute Fermin Tiso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Chano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustacio Gustau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Rocendo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermegildo Chano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Fermin Tiso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 minutes of play, Constituyentes AFC's Mateo Cesario made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. German Xabier was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 26 minutes, Fermin Tiso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Hunos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Tiso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fermin Tiso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atletico Hunos's Eustacio Gustau got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fermin Tiso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Eustacio Gustau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Chano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermegildo Chano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Tiso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fermin Tiso was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Constituyentes AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Emmanuel came free, but Ermegildo Chano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Fermin Tiso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ermegildo Chano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th minute Fermin Tiso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Chano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constituyentes AFC's Ermegildo Chano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Tiso in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Emmanuel in the 84th minute of play forced Constituyentes AFC's goalkeeper Ermegildo Chano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Constituyentes AFC's goalkeeper Ermegildo Chano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jimeno Luar fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Constituyentes AFC's protests and gave Jimeno Luar a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Constituyentes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Luar. In the 88th minute, Fermin Tiso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carmelo Frascuelo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Ermegildo Chano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Hunos. Club Atletico Hunos's Eustacio Gustau got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
