Obanta's Melquiades Perfecto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Obanta from getting a goal against them. Valer Ticulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Maurino's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, deportivo juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Maurino came free, but Valer Ticulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to deportivo juniors getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Lisandro Kepa hit a great ball. When Anselmo Maurino fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Obanta's protests and gave Anselmo Maurino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Obanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Maurino to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, deportivo juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Maurino came free, but Valer Ticulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valer Ticulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Maurino in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Obanta got a freekick which was hit by Angel Fernanco. In the 27th minute, Angel Fernanco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Obanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 30th minute Braulio Nardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Perfecto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Obanta getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Stalian Marinescu hit a great ball. deportivo juniors's Isaac Vitin got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amancio Locaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in deportivo juniors's zone, Angel Fernanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valer Ticulescu came out of the goal and Angel Fernanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Isaac Vitin made the kick off in the second half. deportivo juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Anselmo Maurino scored to the left of an out of position Valer Ticulescu, making the score, 0-2. Valer Ticulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Maurino in the 56th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Obanta's Anselmo Maurino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valer Ticulescu. That made the score 0-3 after 57 minutes of play. Melquiades Perfecto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Vitin in the 61st minute of the match. After 63 played minutes deportivo juniors got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Nardo. Valer Ticulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Maurino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Fernanco scored 0-4 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valer Ticulescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Maurino in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valer Ticulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. deportivo juniors's Valer Ticulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save deportivo juniors from getting a goal against them. Anselmo Maurino took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valer Ticulescu. Valer Ticulescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The supporters of deportivo juniors booed when Obanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Fernanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anselmo Maurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valer Ticulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Maurino in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to deportivo juniors getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ciriaco Giraldo hit a great ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Anselmo Maurino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but deportivo juniors's Valer Ticulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Obanta getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ignacio Eate hit a great ball. Isaac Vitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Melquiades Perfecto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Obanta's Anselmo Maurino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Obanta played a much better game than deportivo juniors and deserved their victory. The deportivo juniors players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
