Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hilario Jago kicked off to start the match. Mateo Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ricardo Rojelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for El mas Mejor! Octavio Pitin shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Isidoro Bartoleme hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Gervasio Frascuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Gorosti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Dante Mateus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mataderos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dante Mateus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Rojelio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateo Turi went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, El mas Mejor's Melquiades Gorosti got control of the ball when Dante Mateus tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in El mas Mejor's zone, Gervasio Frascuelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Gorosti came out of the goal and Gervasio Frascuelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Mateus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaudencio Francho hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After the first half El mas Mejor were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gervasio Frascuelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Mataderos FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Rojelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Mincho. Gervasio Frascuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Melquiades Gorosti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in El mas Mejor's zone, Dante Mateus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Gorosti came out of the goal and Dante Mateus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Mateus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Gorosti having to interfere. Gervasio Frascuelo took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Gorosti. Melquiades Gorosti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind El mas Mejor's goalkeeper Melquiades Gorosti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dante Mateus took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Gorosti. Melquiades Gorosti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 73rd match minute, El mas Mejor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Henrico to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Rojelio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateo Turi in the 77th minute. Melquiades Gorosti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Frascuelo in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Mataderos FC's Gervasio Frascuelo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Gorosti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Melquiades Gorosti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Frascuelo in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, El mas Mejor's Gaston Gabirel got a free kick in the 86th minute. Mataderos FC's Dante Mateus got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mataderos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
