In the 16th minute, Hao Yang Jing left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granate Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Modesto Huly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Eutropio having to interfere. Lucas Lucas hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Robustiano Eutropio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Cordeara, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Granate Futbol Club got a corner. Cidampajao's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Granate Futbol Club's Mauricio Chayo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Robustiano Eutropio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 36th minute Benigno Eguntsenti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benigno Eguntsenti was the one to do the kick off. Granate Futbol Club's Filiberto Pelayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Granate Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Robustiano Eutropio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hao Yang Jing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiberto Pelayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Furtado in the 59th minute. Hao Yang Jing ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute, Faustino Cordeara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robustiano Eutropio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. There was no doubt that Granate Futbol Club were the better team. Granate Futbol Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
